These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our services, including our website www.petverse.co.za and the Petverse App (collectively, the “Platform”). By using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

3. User Eligibility

To use the Petverse services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have legal guardian consent if younger).

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

4. Description of Services

The Petverse Platform offers various pet-related services, including but not limited to:

• Pet tracking and analytics via the Petverse App.

• Subscription-based access to premium features.

• Notifications and updates regarding your pet’s well-being.

5. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account on our Platform. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure.

• Ensuring account details are accurate and up to date.

• Not sharing your account with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscription Plans & Payment

6.1 Subscription Commitment

• All users who sign up for a paid Petverse subscription are required to commit to a minimum period of 3 months (90 days).

• After the initial 90-day period, subscriptions will continue on a month-to-month basis until cancelled.

• Early Cancellations before the expiry of the 90-day period will not be eligible for refunds.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed in advance, and payment is required for access to premium features.

• Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayFast, PayPal).

• If a payment fails, access to the Platform may be restricted until payment is resolved.

6.3 Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle.

• You may cancel your subscription after the initial 90-day period via your account settings or by emailing [email protected].

• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

7. Refund Policy

• No refunds are issued for early cancellation within the 90-day commitment period.

• Refunds may be considered in cases of billing errors or duplicate charges.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activities.

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

• Misuse the services in any way that violates these Terms.

We reserve the right to terminate access for any violations.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Platform, including the Petverse App, branding, and technology, is owned by Petverse (Pty) Ltd.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Platform without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Petverse provides its services “as is” without warranties of any kind.

• We are not liable for any damages, including data loss, service interruptions, or inaccurate pet tracking results.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect your personal data.

12. Termination of Services

• Petverse may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.

• Upon termination, access to your data and services will be revoked.

• There will be no refunds for the remainder of the billing cycle in the event of termination or suspension

13. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time.

• Significant changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.

• Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by South African law, and any disputes will be settled in South African courts.
